[신앙에세이] Get out of the Boat

예수님과 함께 하는 항해에서

내게 있는건 예수님, 그리고 배 뿐이었다.

When I had was

only Jesus and a boat

on the journey of faith

서서히 바람이 세게 불어오고

파도가 심해질 때마다

나와 함께 배를 타고 있는 예수님보다

내가 타고 있는 배를 더 붙잡았다.

Whenever the wind is stronger

and waves are rising strongly,

I have grabbed more the boat

than Jesus Christ

어쩌면 예수님 보다 배를

더 의지 했는지도 모른다.

Perhaps,

I have leaned more on the boat

than Jesus Christ

그래서 예수님은 나에게

내가 타고 있던 배에서 나와

바다 위를 걸으라 하신다.

So jesus is asking me to

get down off the boat

and walk on the ocean

철저히 예수님만 바라보지 않으면

바로 가라앉아버릴

'이상'한 걸음을 요구하신다.

Jesus is asking me to walk one great step

which I might be fail to perform
